Back to School

I am participating in The Digi Shack Sketchbook Wednesday.  I had the idea to have the kids give the teachers little back to school gifts and thought this card would be perfect.  The only hang up - my two kids have 7 classroom teachers between them plus a music teacher and a P.E. teacher.  So, I will be making cards for a while.  :)  Enjoy!

Thanks for looking and commenting today!!  This summer has been a little more hectic than I ever realized.  This is my first actual summer because my kids were in school this year.  WoW!  I never knew it would be this crazy to have them home all day everyday - after all, I have always stayed home with them.  One day was the same as any other before they were in school.  So, thanks for bearing with my somewhat neglected blog at times.  I still love making cards more than ever; I'm just not able to stay consistent while the kids are needing my EVERY waking minute.  :)

Sweet Baby

For some reason, I have really been into making baby cards with yellow.  Interesting as I have never been able to break out of the baby pink or baby blue.  I had a ton of fun creating this card.  Isn't it fun when things come together just the way you imagined them in your mind?

Announcement . . . .

I know it has been a while, but bare with me.  :)  I had a GREAT trip to NYC at the first part of the month.  I spent the next two weeks first with sick kids and the second with sick me.  No fun!!!  But we are all on the mend and doing better.  

Okay, on to my news.  I have been accepted as a DT member for The Digi Shack.  It is a place that sells digital stamps.  I know most of you are gasping that I have put down my PTI stuff.  But, I adore many of the stamps at TDS and wanted to broaden my horizons.  I get to start off my term announcing a new set of digital stamps being release on June 5, 2010. It is a set of cutie-patootie chunkies.  Without further ado, here is a peek at one of them.


As soon as I laid eyes on him, I immediately knew what I was going to do.  I put a twist on the police colors using the dark pink.  I thought it was cute anyway.  Thanks for looking.  I cannot wait to show you more of the adorable chunkies designed by The Digi Shack's own Marlene.
